Bad typographical decisions led to sacking A New Zealand woman was sacked, inter alia, for using the wrong typeface, says The New Zealand Herald. ‘ProCare told the authority Walker—who was fired in December 2007 after two years of employment—had caused disharmony in the workplace by using block capitals, bold typeface and red text in her emails,’ says the newspaper.

Worst small caps on TV Sir Roger Moore’s name on US TV show The View. Fake small caps are bad enough, because the smaller letters look too light. Whomever was the typographer here decided to bold the large Arial caps—making the weight difference far worse.
